Accommodation Case Study
Challenge:
The IFA in Berlin is approaching. Our Client searches desperately for rooms for 44 guests and staff members. The hotel does not need to be fancy, but at least comfortable and within close proximity to the trade fair. Berlin is fully booked! All of Berlin? Servicebroker is called on the job.
Solution:
The first step is a detailed discussion with our client. Who exactly are the guests and staff members and what specific needs do they have? What expectations are concealed within the request for “not fancy, but comfortable. How much money would the client like to invest? Only after determining a need-oriented and accurate definition of client expectations, were we able to develop an efficient solution. In this case, viewing the problem from a different perspective was instrumental in finding a solution. The expectation of “close proximity” when viewed in time rather than location, opened up the possibilities we’d hoped for.
Result:
Our client receives an offer and an alternative. Both hotels are considerably further from the fair as those that have already been offered and refused by the client. However, they are located next to a highway (no traffic jams) which offers a direct 20-minute route to the fair. Servicebroker also arranges an economical bus transfer. The client breathes a sigh of relief and, with his team, looks forward to the arrival of the guests.
